From the other side:
The Heat Index of the TrueHoop Network: The Heat: Breakneck or Break-you-down – not a preview piece, but an interesting discussion on the best way to utilize the skills of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. I’m in the push-it camp, for two reasons: Watching LeBron run the fast break is very impressive. And watching Dwyane Wade drive into the lane looking for contact over and over in the half-court is not.
Quick thoughts:
Good news: The Bobcats already have 3 road wins this year, after finishing last year with only 13. Last year’s Cats took until January 3rd to reach that many road wins (winning both games of a road back to back, in Miami and then Cleveland, to get there). Two positives to take out of that: This year’s Cats are doing better on the road – and they were able to beat LeBron James on the road last year.
And then, go watch this video from Skeets and Melas at the Basketball Jones all afternoon: Like a Bosh
This game is a toss-up. Miami has shown that they are in no way a dominant team. The cats could steal this one.
What do the Bobcats need to be a legit playoff team??
cause we all now their not right now… But pretty damn close…
Got CATS!
