Time to fire up the ESPN trade machine – it’s wheeling and dealing time in Charlotte. With more substantive thoughts, Sam Amick at Fanhouse:
And as Jordan continues to plot ways of remaking this disappointment of a team, the conversations below him continue that could lead to more cold-hearted departures in the name of competitiveness.

If I were the Bobcats and the Clippers, I’d consider this deal:

Bobcats give up pu-pu platter for two solid starter-worthy vets; Clippers get rid of headaches in addition to salary relief.
Bobs end up with-
PG: Davis and Livingston
SG: Jackson and Henderson
SF: Wallace and McGuire
PF: Thomas (a deserved promotion) and D. Brown/Najera combo
C: Kaman and Mohammed and K. Brown
Bobcats’ cap space is tied up for the next 2-3 years anyways- why not go all-in for best mediocre team possible until all the dead-weight salaries drop off?
Maybe MJ should go after Nash. He wanted Carmelo but that’s not happening.
