Bobcats vs TrailBlazers Recap

Score: 102-97 Bobcats
Bobcats Record: 16-24
Game Efficiencies:
Offensive: 107.4
Defensive: 103.2
Meritorious Player: Gerald Wallace. 31 points on 19 attempts, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal, and one of the nastiest dunks I have ever seen live – throwing the alley-oop down on Greg Oden, and one. Direct quote, everyone in TWC Arena: “OHHH!”

A couple of notes before the Crash-centric pic fest. Raymond and Emeka also had big games for the Bobcats: Raymond had 16 pts, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, and only 2 turnovers – plus another key basket, hitting a driving bank shot in the lane to put Charlotte up 2 with 15 seconds left in regulation (and he nearly made a jumper at the buzzer to win it without the extra time). Emeka – who also had a beastly dunk on Oden – had 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks. As a group, the starters were +3 (64-61), with efficiencies of 108.5 offensive and 100.0 defensive (the Bobcats had 2 fewer offensive possessions together to score their points, that is why the efficiency spread is so great).

That is all I have got: It was a great game to attend and the team just continues to improve. The crowd was better last night than at the other games I have been to this year, and games like yesterday should only help to improve enthusiasm in the Queen City for the Bobcats. Now, a couple of shots taken at the game:
