Yes, the Bobcats resigned Tyrus Thomas. Yes, Raymond Felton has agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks. Yes, Boris Diaw and Tyson Chandler are being…well, it has not happened just yet. So if this trade ever happens… by Rick Bonnell outlines a couple of thoughts on the potential trade of Diaw and Chandler (among other players from other teams) with the Bobcats receiving Jose Calderon and Reggie Evans (or Dwayne Jones) in return. But it has not been finalized just yet, and as Bonnell points out, that means it may not. So, I am going to hold off on substantive discourse on this until it is a reality – but just know that the Bobcats may be filling their new point guard gap with a solid (and substantially different) player while unloading the conundrum that is Boris Diaw and the M.A.S.H. unit that is Tyson Chandler. If it happens, I am pleased – if it does not, I will not be unpleased, as it shows some solid work by the front office. And when it does happen, I will have more to say.
