i like this guy, he is deadly at the corner 3, like you said i think next year with two healthy pgs for the entre year we he should improve immensly, another good role player kinda like mullens is a change of pace type guy, he loved running the court and spoting up at the corner 3 when he was a warrior and he would have done that this year if he wasnt hurt constantly or playing the point....

one question for the writers, will you possibly be looking at players the bobcats might target this offseason? or positional needs that you feel should be targeted in the draft and free agency, obviously we will just draft the best guy for our 1st rounder, but what about the 2nd?

Byron is just an inconsistant player with a questionable motor.. One game he plays zero defense, the next game he's dunking on and over 7 foot dudes and grabbing big rebounds. I think he's a player that could be a solid sixth man under the right coaching/system... But I'm the person that blames Paul Silas for most of the problems the bobcats have so..

I really think Byron can play and has a future in this league. Obviously he needs to make defense a priority but he has skills that most guys his size don't have offensively. I think last year was basically like a rookie season for him. He spent 2 years in the d league while with the Thunder and so last year was his first true season to really play competitively against NBA opponents. If he continues to work hard he can be a serviceable player in this league. He's a cheap low risk high reward player to have on the team.

i love this guy as a sixth man, if we get davis i think he would be perfect, if not i say find a true center....
As a sixth man he changes the pace of the game, he imeediatly brings offence to the second unit and very few backup center can really do to much against him, he brings those big centers out of the lane with his shooting ability and is just a mismatch for alot of players offensively...due to the fact that he is a terribl defender and lacks a good motor i wouldnt want him to be a starter...

Bismack and Davis...if we get that look out for one of the best defensive teams in the paint for years to come, if not i say someone please kill stern he is an incompetant ass...

i dont mean literally kill him, but i wouldnt mind him to finally retire or just someone take over for him...

now here is a true question, after the draft or before, what are our needs, we need a true center, Bismack and DAvis could both be it, Davis if he can bulk up, Bismack if we draft him, we need a low post offensive threat, we need about 2 more 3 pt shooters for damn sure, and what else?

so Charllote needs a true center, a low post scorer, anohter 3 pt shooter, and a defensive small foward..

i love this guy, he runs the court well on fast breaks and is a hustle player you said, but i personally would rather see him get a post game then a mid range game, mid range alot of players have a mid range game at the sf, how many sfs have a good post game? very few...i thnik he needs to develope his post game and cause mis matches offensivly which make the other team need to put a bigger body on him..., plus if he is in the post as a post up player, he will obviously have more chances at offensive rebounds while being in the post

Matt carrol gives me hope that I can make it to the nba and become a millionaire there. ( and I've never played organized basketball in my life. )

Every team needs a few veteran leaders, Maggette is one of our few, Carrol is also, he is a modest smart guy who will hopefully be a good role model for the younger guys coming in, does he deserve 3.5 million dollars for being a player coach? hell no...hopefully he can just be a role model off the court, and maybe during practice, and stay off the court so he dosent influence any of are younger guys there...

The grades that we will be using in these posts are the average grades the players received in the game recaps throughout the season. Some of the time when Diop played, it didn't even warrant a mention in the recaps, so no grade was accumulated.

A "D" is very generous in my opinion. Diop never got into shape, only played a handful of minutes, and rarely showed passion for the game (I can think of one awesome spin move.) Air-balling free throws was priceless. If I were the Bobcats, I would just eat his contract next season and cut him.
