The Charlotte Hornets played well on both sides of the ball and picked up a victory in Sacramento Saturday evening. The Cousins-less Kings struggled to make shots, hitting below 40% for the game. Sacramento no longer has that player they can turn to when things get tough on the offensive end and it showed Saturday. Credit the Hornets for playing good help defense and getting their hands in passing lanes. Charlotte scored 12 points off the Kings 14 turnovers. After Sacramento’s 15-0 run in the first quarter, Charlotte settled down and never looked back. Hornets went on a huge run 19-0 to begin the 3rd quarter stretching their lead to 63-40. On offense, the ball moved very well and it resulted in open looks. Kaminsky had a team-high 23 points and made a career high 5 triples.
