Kemba Walker present at NYC nightclub shooting

Bobcats rookie and 9th overall draft pick Kemba Walker was present last night at Juliet Supper Club, on West 21st St. in New York City where a crazed gunman fired off five shots, killing a man in the nightclub sources from the New York Daily News reported.

Sadly, one man was killed and two others were injured, but Kemba and the other four NBA players in the night club were safe without injury. John Wall, Russell Westbrook, Carlos Boozer, and Chris Duhon were the other NBA stars that were present at the time of the shooting.

Walker was presumably still in New York from his Under Armour “Are You From Here?” tour date in Brooklyn over the weekend, Boozer and Duhon were both in the area to support their ex-college coach Mike Krzyzewski in Madison Square Garden last night where he reached a record setting 903 career wins, and Westbrook and Wall were probably still in NYC following the players meeting that spelled doom for the season’s hope on Monday.
