Boxscore of Charlotte Bobcats and Miami Heat – 11/19/2010
Score: 95-87 Miami
Bobcats record: 4-8
Offensive Efficiency: 94.6
Defensive Efficiency: 104.4
Meritorious Player: Stephen Jackson – by default. 30 points on 24 attempts (and the next most attempts on the team was 9). Gerald Wallace got disqualified from the game (T’s), so disqualified from consideration here, despite a solid effort guarding LeBron James (yes, James finished with 32 – but only 16 against Crash, and it took 14 shots – so decent).
The comeback from 19 down to a late lead that they ultimately relinquished was impressive – and a cooperative effort. Yes, Jackson pumped in a few threes but the effort was at both ends. Derrick Brown provided a spark off the bench and Nazr started the second half by crashing his way towards the basket for a few makes. The Bobcats chipped away and made it respectable.
Note: Weekend game recaps are going to be on the brief side – so don’t be surprised.
