Gana Diop: Far enough down the player ranking list from ESPN.com that they didn’t even include a comment from Twitter. Gana is big and immobile – the solid defensive presence that earned a mid-level deal from the Mavericks is gone. At this point, injuries and severe foul trouble will be the only reason Diop sees extended action.

Diop managed the difficult task of having a TS% lower than his FG%: 35.7% from the field, 34.7% TS. This was accomplished by shooting 16.7% from the charity stripe.

Not to be overly harsh, but DeSagna Diop didn’t look like he belonged on a basketball court for much of the season. He went out there when called upon, but he was out of shape all year, and just did not contribute much. The kindest way to describe his play is, “he went out there when called upon”…holy crap.
