Welcome Ramon Sessions to Charlotte, Bobcats fans – it is his 5th team in 6 seasons. I have to assume he’ll be renting, as he is projected to be the backup to Kemba Walker, and will probably be moving on again after this two-year deal is up, since Kemba is who the Bobcats are hoping to have at the 1 in the future.
ESPN NBA Player Ranking:
Stats:
Ramon Sessions used slightly fewer possessions per game than D.J. Augustin, yet produced two more points per game anyway. In D.J.’s defense, Ramon was playing next to Kobe, Pau Gasol, and Andrew Bynum. But for some optimism for the upcoming season, look at the swap tool’s results of switching the two.

Perspectives from around the web:
Is the name “Ramon Sessions” Latin for “bad luck”; “poor timing”; or what? I mean, he played arguably the best ball of his career as a starter for the Lakers in the regular season, and yet no one wanted to invest in him as a starter in the offseason. Was the regular season sample size too small and too good to be true, or was his playoff sample too damning despite its size? I really don’t know, that’s why I’m writing this.
