Social Media Snapshot: The Hornets are Buzzing This Summer

In this first edition of our Social Media Snapshots, we take an overview of the Hornets’ online activity, and recommend some follows.

Must-Follow: Lance Stephenson

The Hornets’ biggest offseason signing is also one of their most active on Instagram. He got chuckles at his press conference when he mentioned that he thought himself to be “a funny guy,” no doubt playing off his LeBron James antics in the 2014 Playoffs. Indeed, his comments came just hours after he’d been part of a bit at the ESPYs with Drake, where the “Lance Cam” offered a chance for Stephenson to make light of the drama he caused in the Eastern Conference Finals.

While he’s no Joel Embiid, Stephenson does bring his own brand of self-evident humor to his profile, seemingly never taking himself too seriously. In this post, he captioned the picture with, “I think I can be a model.”

You’re a model for us already, Lance.

Peter Haley will be snooping (read: creeping) on Hornets’ related social media for Queen City Hoops. We want to include your posts as well. Help us out and tag your twitter/facebook/instagram posts #QCHBuzz.
